Unfortunately, we also had a very bad experience with House Check. They don't answer the phone during opening hours, so you have to contact them by email, allowing them to charge for late cancellations (not canceled two business days in advance, because the office had already closed for 10 minutes). A whopping €100 on top of your invoice, no payment, and no receipt. 😉 Meanwhile, five weeks later, daily phone calls, and still no one within the company who can help us. To be continued.

Chaotic electrical inspection with unreliable service
I recently hired House Check for an electrical inspection in Temse, and it was a complete disaster. The planning was a mess: appointments were repeatedly changed without clear explanation. The communication was so unprofessional and confusing that it caused more stress than clarity. The inspection itself did not meet expectations at all, and to make matters worse, the final price turned out to be different from what was agreed upon. The whole process felt messy and unreliable. This was without a doubt one of the worst collaborations I have ever experienced, and I would absolutely not recommend House Check to anyone.

Bad experience with electrical inspection and appointments
Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with House Check for the electrical inspection in my parental home in Ghent that took place in May. They do not keep their agreements, which caused me a lot of stress. The price was also disappointing. Too bad, but I can't recommend them.

Hardly realistic results due to short-sightedness and lack of common sense.
It is best to stay away from this company if you want an EPC score that corresponds to your investments. She was fussy about everything, even things that are written in black and white on paper! Apparently even dimensions on the building plan cannot be trusted... Anything that is not 200% demonstrable will then be listed as 'unknown', so that the EPC value will ultimately be a lot lower than with the actual materials. A minimum of knowledge or common sense is apparently not a requirement at this company. Almost as bad as our retarded politicians who come up with this kind of nonsense. Even a 12-year-old can copy numbers blindly... Don't get me wrong, I'm in favor of making our homes and way of life more environmentally friendly. but this way it's just ridiculous! The certificate was ready the day after the visit, but in order to download the certificate, you have to PAY FIRST! Pretty bad practice...
